The Baptist Standard - This is the online edition of the weekly newsjournal for Texas Baptists.
LifeWay Christian Resources - Formerly the Baptist Sunday School Board), this site provides Sunday School teachers and leadership with information about resources for Bible study and devotionals, discipling and evangelism. (For more information, see "Bible Study Resources" below.)

Purpose Driven - Purpose Driven is a part of the Mission of Saddleback Church, based in Lake Forest, CA. Its task is to equip pastors to plant and renew churches to become balanced, grow healthily, and reproduce. One of its programs is the "40 Days of Purpose" campaign, and FBC participated in this program in 2003. Learn more about "40 Days of Purpose" here.
ServLife International, Inc. - Founded by former FBC member Joel Vestal, this evangelistic organization was created "to help bridge gaps between the affluence of the west to the great needs of developing nations." This ministry supports indigenous church planters, provides support to persecuted Christians worldwide, and provides education to Americans about religious persecution.
Bible Gateway - One of the best resources of its kind on the 'Net, this site offers fifteen versions of Scripture (in 25+ languages!), plus footnotes and cross references, an elegant and powerful search engine and surprisingly quick response. Highly recommended for Bible students!
The Biblical Studies Foundation - This is the home site for the New English Translation of the Bible, and it includes a number of study resources in addition to a searchable version of the scripture.
Blue Letter Bible - This site provides a verse-by-verse study guide, with direct links to Strong's Concordance and "Treasury of Scripture Knowledge," along with several online commentaries (including the complete set of Matthew Henry's commentaries). If you are really serious, the site provides interlinear Hebrew and Greek for each verse. The site also provides maps and charts (including Ironsides' famous "The Revelation of Jesus") and extensive audio and video resources.
Crosswalk.com's Bible Study Tools - Concordances, commentaries, lexicons, dictionaries, sermon helps, church history... this is one of the most comprehensive reference sites we've found for the serious Bible student or teacher. This page also contains some powerful search capabilities (such as verse lookup from 14 translations, or topic lookup from 10 different commentaries and references).
Josh Hunt - Josh provides weekly material that tracks the SBC Sunday School lesson series; especially interesting is his list of questions for each lesson to help "jump start" the class discussion.
Leadership U - Leadership U is a ministry of Campus Crusade For Christ, International. This site contains hundreds of articles and essays about topics ranging from politics to science to theology, all written from a Christian perspective. If you're seeking a apologetic resource for witnessing to an unsaved friend, or looking for just the right illustration to supplement a Bible study lesson, you might very well find it on this website.
EveryStudent.com - Do you know a college student who needs Christ? Are you a college student who wants some tips on how to be more effective in sharing Christ? This website provides resources for both situations, and many others all of them college-oriented. EveryStudent.com is yet another fine project of Campus Crusade for Christ.
5 Clicks To Sharing Your Faith - This Campus Crusade for Christ site contains many resources to assist you in personal evangelism. An interesting feature allows you to construct your personal testimony in five steps (hence, "5 Clicks"!), resulting in a document that can be printed for or e-mailed to someone with whom you wish to share the Gospel.
Digitracts - Send free animated electronic tracts (Flash-based) via email to lost friends and family members. Electronic greeting cards with an evangelistic bent are also available. All materials are high quality, but also high bandwidth; be sensitive to this when sending tracts to those with slow dialup connections.
ChristianAnswers.net - Christian Answers is a worldwide evangelism, education and discipleship ministry of Films for Christ. This website is designed primarily to provide accurate, biblical answers on a wide variety of questions asked by Christians and non-Christians. (The site also offers movie and other entertainment reviews with a Christian perspective.)
The Four Spiritual Laws - This is one of the most simple and effective ways of sharing the Gospel. Campus Crusade for Christ maintains this site, which gives a straightforward presentation of the salvation message.
Apologetics Index - "Apologetics" is the logical presentation and defense of the Christian faith. This website provides research resources on religious cults, sects, new religious movements, alternative religions, apologetics-, anticult-, and countercult organizations, doctrines, religious practices and world views. It contains over 4,000 links to other online resources. This site is most helpful when researching specific questions.
Need Him.org - More Scriptural answers to life questions. This site contains separate sections for children, teens, 20-somethings, women and men.
711.Net - Billed as "Christian Internet Assistance," this site offers "yellow page" and "white page" directories for all kinds of Christian services, from abortion alternatives to youth organizations. This is a relatively new site on the Web, and is growing rapidly.
Aliyat Simcha - Want to know more about the Jewish roots of our Christian faith? This site will help you achieve that goal.
Campus Journal - Select from four different daily devotionals (one in Spanish), including the online version of Oswald Chambers classic series, "My Utmost For His Highest."
CCM Online - The home page for Contemporary Christian Music magazine...a must for anyone interested in this musical genre.
Christian Internet Broadcasting Network - This site provides a round-the-clock broadcast of Christian TV, music and other programs.
CrossGuide.com (formerly GOSHEN) - Global Online Service Helping Evangelize Nations - This site contains a very comprehensive directory and search engine for Christian content.
Kids4Truth - If you think there aren't any websites for kids that combine Biblical truth with engaging content of the highest quality, then you haven't visited this website! The one downside is that the website is laden with multimedia content, which could be frustrating if you have a slow Internet connection.
International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church - This site contains the latest information on the plight of persecuted Christians around the world, and resources for interceding on their behalf. There is also a website for IDOP USA.
Real Issue - Another online resource from Campus Crusade for Christ, this site provides resources for Christian educators who want to be more effective in sharing their faith with their students, and responding to questions from them. It's primarily directed to college professors, but is has helpful information for anyone working in the field of education.
ServantEvangelism.com - Also accessible as Kindness.com, this website comes recommended by FBC pastor Gary Dyer as an excellent resource for "fresh ideas for evangelizing through acts of encouragement."
The Spurgeon Archive - Charles Haddon Spurgeon was one of the most influential preachers of the modern evangelical church, and no serious student of church history should be without this resource.
Veggie Tales! - What? You've not yet succumbed to the gentle yet sophisticated musings of Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber? This site will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about this excellent series of Christian videos designed for children (but with tangible appeal to adults and teens, as well).
